Tosca Tells My Story!

Isn’t that a fun name to say?


It’s pronounced, “Taws-cuh” but I prefer to pronounce it, “Toes-cuh” and then throw my arm in the air and stomp my foot. It’s fun! You should try it!

Whose Tosca

Tosca Reno was a 40 year old frumpy housewife who transformed herself into a best-selling author, fitness model and columnist all by eating a clean diet.

What’s a clean diet?

Well it isn’t a “diet” at all. Simply put, it’s eating the way nature intended us to eat. Eating often, consuming high quality lean proteins, complex carbs and healthy fats. All the things that make you feel and look fantastic!

Here’s the part where you say, “Reyna, don’t you do that too?”

And the answer is yes!! In fact, Tosca played a part in my evolution into Veganism.

Recently, Tosca posted in her blog that she was not only coming out with a Vegetarian cookbook but that she was also looking for guest bloggers to feature on her website. Bloggers who were living and thriving on a clean Vegan, Vegetarian or Pescatarian diet. I instantly sent her an email telling her a little bit about myself. I mean, why not? I want to tell the world how amazing I feel now that I follow a whole foods, plant based diet and how for the first time in my life I’ve maintained a healthy weight effortlessly! I don’t have that daily torture and struggle anymore! Apparently, Tosca’s people want to help me tell the world too because they sent me an email saying that I’d been chosen to tell my story, share my pictures and a recipe of my own! And if that wasn’t enough, they would be sending me a copy of her new cookbook (for free) as well!

Can I just say that this book is amazing?! It’s for all walks of life! She has this wonderful legend in the front of the book that labels what recipes are Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Family-Friendly etc. That is so helpful and with over 100 Vegan recipes? I give this cookbook a big two thumbs up!
